Assistance with planning applications & planning stages of a build:

  • Creation of general arrangement floorplans required for landlord approval of scheme or initial planning submission for change of use

  • Creation of written specification and scope of works for consultants/contractors for contract/tender purposes

Inviting and processing tenders for & management of consultants where required (dependent on size of project):

Appraisal of tender returns and recommendations to be made and cost / value analysis between consultants to be completed

Full design service including final fit out plans developed in liaison with chosen consultants 

  • Architectural drawings detailing any required sound proofing condition + material build ups

  • Services (AC/extraction and drainage detailing) 

  • 2nd fix materials (including sanitaryware, electrics. etc.)

  • Design plans detailing branding locations & materials/colour palette

  • AV requirements (monitors + sound system)

  • 3D visuals/renders & Elevations (if needed)

  • Principal designer duties (JCT / CDM)

Project management & contract administration 

In the construction industry, the contract administrator is the individual responsible for administering the construction standard contracts.

  • Includes preparing contract documentation for execution

  • Administering change of control procedures / issuing variation instructions

  • Construction progress meetings

  • Ensuring project documentation is issued to the client

  • Issuing certificates of practical completion

  • Project management will include the day to day management of the building works and the site.

  • Liaison for, and management of, contractors and all consultants and suppliers for second fix materials + specialist procurement items
